cambodia in a nut-shell. its been fun. a whole lot of fun. i miss everything there. ok maybe not the food. but anw, i miss the people, the culture and the place generally. funny how i actually miss the ocip participants. been seeing them for 13 days then all of a sudden, they don appear in the morning. miss the late night bitchings with the other gang. staying up playing the dumb level game. hahaha. sneaking out at night to go to pub street.

ah well. i miss the people a whole lot. but i'm glad to be back in singapore. back to the urban lifestyle. but singapore feels so foreign now. maybe its like some post-trip syndrome.

well well, its week 2 of end of year hols alr. time flies pretty damn fast. frankly, im not sure what i did last week. it past soo quickly. the only thing i remembered was the chinese A's. and the jab. and the lousy kembangan soccer.

i pretty much forgot what i did last monday to thursday.

anyway, on sunday went to jiaqi's house for pw meeting. haha. we slacked for about 3 hours, bitching and playing before finally getting down to work. honestly, i believe our group is capable of achieving an 'above expectations' grade. after that, went to blk 85 for dinner. they really sell good food there. the bar chor mee was excellent. the soup was like superb. but then the stingray was messed up cos the next day i had diarrhoea.

next morning, had soccer training. tiring shit. the first thing coach said to us was if we didn't get under 10 mins for 2.4km, training was cancelled. naturally, we all freaking ran like dogs. i managed to get under 11 mins. i'm aiming to run below 10 by the end of hols.

after that, training carried on as usual. i was playing beside pak at dm for this session. i donno why though. my natural position's left mid but perhaps, the coach wanted to try out his first choice midfield (without me, how sad). too bad. they never got a shot off for 15 mins. the defence, pak and i were holding them. but it got tougher after pak left. i was covering two men's ground.

before this becomes a chen blog entry (right dom?) , i shall stop talking about training. after training, i went to meet my classmates for Service Learning Project meeting. managed to finalize loads of stuff. and for the first time in my life, i failed to finish my food.

i think i've stopped growing. sigh. the sad truth.

after that, went to meet george and long lost friend chilli crab. HAHAHAHA. watched the prestige. its an awesome show. really fantastic. underlines loads of theories and philosophies.

one thing i realized was life can be really simple. but its because people are soo complex, or rather, we think that its really very complex, that life becomes so.

after that, talked for a long while before setting out to find the bishi-bashi machine. hahaha. ended up at plaza sing where we started taking pictures everytime we got onto an escalator.

oh and we got asked to stop taking photos of the happy feet posters.

ocip preparation has been really tiring.

in other news, united lost to copenhagen. bloody hell, i could have played and won the game for them tsk. hahaha.
