i'm not one for uncertainties.

life isn't as awesome as it was before.

and so block leave is reaching the point of conclusion and i have to say i enjoyed myself a little too much. not that enjoyment overdose is a bad thing, but this little window of make-believe that army is but a distant memory can be a double-edged sword. i, for one, am dreading the idea of reporting to pasir laba camp on monday morning and getting prepared to stay in for the next 5 if not 6 days.

yes ladies and gentlemen, thou hast been posted to SISPEC, Suffer In Silence Plus Extra Confinement. i'm hoping this is just a joke that someone came up with because if its true, my life is pretty much ruined. on the brighter side of things, there are tons of people who are reporting there and i'm just hoping that i'll run into a few people that i know well and that we'll all be in the same section.

till then, it has been a memorable block leave. looking forward to more of it. hahahaha. although the army dishing out leave is as frequent as a blue moon. for now, toodles.

the past week has been a week of realizations. and just to name a few for "fun-sies",

1. i can never be a LEGENDARY, awesome oozing dota player.
2. italy causes me to lose my income.
3. turkey have the luck of the greeks.
4. mahjong is the single most awesome, intense and LEGENDARY game invented by the chinese. who gives a hoot about chinese chess and backgammon and whatever other nonsense they came up with.
5. i have a better chance to be a LEGENDARY, awesome oozing mahjong player than to be a LEGENDARY, awesome oozing dota player.

other than that, i think i make a better manager than ferguson after making a shrewd deal for ricardo oliviera who is surprisingly adapt in the epl considering how most brazilians bomb big time playing in england.

make-believe is awesome.

the demise of the two most awesome and legendary words, 'awesome' and 'legendary', is going to begin soon. damn you po THE fat panda.

and so 2 months in the army has come and gone. it probably is an understatement to say that i've learnt much in this 2 months. it has been enjoyable, much better than what i had initially expected.

i remember enlistment day, 9th april. my whole body was filled with dread and fear. the day of reckoning had come and well, i was not prepared for it. i must say being posted to leopard coy has been very much a blessing and life isn't as tough there as compared to other coys.

the first 2 weeks were tough. draining. both physically, mentally and emotionally. nevertheless, i pulled through and things begin to look up after that. field camp, sit test passed and soon i was staring POP in the face.

and so POP came and went. it has been quite a journey. and i'm really thankful for all the people i've came into contact with. the sergeants, the pcs, oc, 2ic and most of all my platoon mates. i can't believe something like this would be uttered by me but i think i'm gonna miss the time i spent in tekong. yes, the dreadful feeling of booking in on sundays never fails to come and irritate but still, the past 8 weeks has been great in a weird way.

bmt has been memorable. last night's zouk outing was quite enjoyable.
